Happppppy Teacher Appreciation Week!
I was recently prowling around a few great DC area schools and stumbled upon the rolling cart of goodness below. Hmmmm. . . I wondered, what could be inside?!?
Stacie K., the principal, explained it was for Teacher Appreciation Week!
And stapled to the front of each bag was this awesome coupon:
Holy cow! The gift of TIME! I would have loved that more than anything as a teacher. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll never complain about a hot breakfast or an on-site masseuse! But the gift of TIME to sleep in, go shopping, make a dentist appointment, or do whatever I decided would help me the most would have been so appreciated.
And you know how I love treats! These bags were fully stocked by parent community leaders with Oreos, Gatorade, and other yummy snacks. Good stuff!
